ER Management Suite 3.1.0 Released

East River Software: East River Software today announced the offical release of ER Management Suite 3.1.0.

This latest version was well recieved during the recent Australia Cebit 2008 exhibition, with many vistors pleased at the inclusion of Assets which is the major enhancement to this version.

Assets were design with flexibility in mind and as such customers can define their own asset types ensuring that only pertinent information about an asset is captured. Like Contacts, Assets can be assigned to an incident ticket, project or to-do task and the integrated overview allows you to view all the information associated with an asset.

Another new feature in this release is the support of time zones. This complements the ASP model of deploying the ER Management Suite. Dates and times are now displayed according to the time zone that the user has select (this is done as part of the profile preferences). For example: Previously Project task due dates would have been displayed according to the time zone that the date was entered in, but with this release the due dates are now displayed according to the time zone that the user has selected as part of their preferences.

ER Management Suite 3.1.0 Scheduled For July Release

East River Software: East River Software announced that ER Management Suite 3.1.0 will be released in early July. "Our beta testing program has been received very well and we do not anticipate any delays".

The latest version expands the horizontal reach of the suite with the addition of Assets. Customers can now define an asset and raise work such as an incident, project or to-do task against the asset.

Any customers that has an active subscription (at the official release date) will have license compliance for ER Management Suite 3.1.0.

CeBIT Australia 08 Limited Offer

East River Software: East River Software announced that ER Management Suite licensing will be reduced by 20% off recommended retail price until the end of CeBIT Australia 2008. This initiative is designed to assist customers making the transition to East River Software for the first time and is available worldwide.

This promotion will directly assist new customers and indirectly assist existing East River Software customers, as it will move additional features to market sooner. At any time there can be three development streams in operation. The next sub-version, and the next two major versions. "To date we have been delivering one major version to market each year. We have been achieving this goal and expect to do so in 2008 and 2009".

ER Management Suite 3.0 released

East River Software: East River Software announced the public release of the next generation of the ER Management Suite version based on the core 3.0 distribution.

East River Software positions its flagship product, ER Management Suite, as a general-purpose time and service management suite. Ironically, the 'general purpose' tag has positioned the ER Management Suite as a boutique product because customers have grown custom to using multiple vertical applications to achieve the same results.

Over the years organizations have implemented a fully customizable Incident System, a separate Project System, a separate system to process billable services and the list goes on. In fact some ER Management Suite customers restrict usage to a single application such as "Incident Management" or just the timesheet components due to historic reasons.

A multiple vertical application solution can be expensive and complicated. The tighter the customization, the more complex company policy changes can become. Providing Internet access across all products is complicated from an infrastructure and security point of view. Dealing with multiple vendors, and the list goes on.

The key additional features of ER Management Suite 3.0 are the Project Management application and time management functions such as PDA quick entry and timesheet entry. The Project Management application is designed to integrate with the loading Project Management client side software. Project schedules can be designed with the leading client side software and imported into the ER Management Suite for operational functions. Customers get the best of both worlds.

East River Software has kept the licensing costs to new users at identical levels. "Dependable license costs are important to our customers and are made possible by our licensing models. We feel, and the feedback we have received indicates, that the value each new version delivers at the same price point is above expectations". Existing customers can move to the new version under subscription.
